Processing: PSoC 6 was built with two cores: a 150-MHz Arm® Cortex®-M4 core to handle data processing and a 100-MHz Arm Cortex-M0+ core to manage peripheral functions. This dual-core architecture allows embedded designers to design for system power consumption and performance.
Connectivity: PSoC 6 MCUs offer both wired and wireless connectivity options including USB and Bluetooth Low-Energy. Cypress’ WICED Wi-Fi chip set can also be easily integrated into your embedded system with PSoC 6.
Security: PSoC 6 was designed to provide a hardware-based root of trust for secure applications, providing protection against unauthorized access to keys. In addition, hardware accelerated cryptography and true random-number generation is provided.
Low Power: Based on an ultra-low power 40nm process, PSoC 6 enables industry-leading low power design that consumes as little as 22-µA/MHz in active power mode and 4.5µA in deep sleep mode. PSoC 6 delivers extended battery life without sacrificing performance.
